Toronto artist Eden Samara grew up in the mountains of western Canada, writing folk songs and developing her own voice, fusing pop with underground electronics.
Influenced by a solo trip in 2016 to experience Europe’s vibrant music scene, the songs that emerged were the first she felt ready to share. Realizing her heart lay in songwriting, Eden left her previous life as an actor and began developing her work with a collective of young Canadian producers. Self-taught, her approach is both precise and haphazard, sitting outside cultural currents while still influenced by them.
2018 saw the release of two debut singles, Upside Down and High School, both of which garnered placement on Spotify editorial playlists and attention from Canadian press. She has since been featured in Clash, Line of Best Fit and the 405 with her recent Days EP.
