Splashh were an indie shoegaze band from London by way of Australia and a crucial part of the fabric of London’s rock scene. Blowing up in 2013, the band released two albums widely lauded as some of the best garage rock of the decade. Bouncing between studios in London and New York, Splashh was formed by long time friends Sasha Carlson and Toto Vivian, who developed their homegrown sound with the support of bassist Thomas Beal and keyboard maestro Jaie Gonzalez.
The have received a ton of buzz from major media outlets such as BBC Radio 1, Fader, NME, i-D, Stereogum, RollingStone, Zane Lowe, Clash, DIY, MTV, NY Times, VICE and more. Their energetic live show has seen every corner of the globe, supporting everyone from the Rolling Stones to Primal Scream.
Splashh announced an indefinite haiatus on their social media in June 2018.
